We are on the hunt for a visionary entrepreneur ready to step into a Vice President of Sales role for our next venture. We want someone who's ready for a startup's ups and downs. You should be okay with not always knowing what's next, but ready to jump into action. You're the type who always has a new idea and wants to improve things. If you can pick the best ideas that make the biggest difference, that's a plus.

Your Role as VP of Sales:
  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Forge a high-performing sales strategy aligned with our business goals, including defining target markets and how to penetrate them effectively.
  • Team Building: Recruit, train, and mentor a sales force that embodies the venture's culture and ambitions.
  • Revenue Growth: Set ambitious sales targets and establish scalable processes to achieve and exceed them.
  • Market Insights: Keep a finger on the pulse of the industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adjust tactics and strategy accordingly.
  • Sales Operations: Implement best practices in sales techniques, tools, and performance metrics to drive sales force productivity.
Expectations from You:
  • Proven Sales Expertise: Your background includes a proven record of sales excellence, preferably within the B2B SaaS space.
  • Startup Agili: You’re comfortable in a startup environment, adapting to evolving product stages and market dynamics.
  • Fundraising Experience: You understand the nuances of working with a venture-backed startup and have the ability to support fundraising efforts through strategic sales milestones.
  • Leadership: You have experience building and coaching sales teams, and you're ready to lead by example.
  • Sales Leadership: Extensive experience in sales leadership, with a strong preference for B2B SaaS environments.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and customer acquisition models.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for both internal team leadership and external customer relations.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in utilizing CRM and sales analytics tools to drive decisions and forecast sales outcomes.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field. An MBA or related graduate degree is a plus.
